In our WL preseason game passing was still good, and pump fake still fired some. Mostly on TE routes. Also if you get in 3rd and long or 4th and long and try to pass, good luck with that. They had a WR that had a good step on the CB and the pass was terrible. I think the damage in the passing game will come on long yardage for 3rd and 4th. You'll see the changes there.

If so, it's a pretty realistic setup IMO (unless of course you're Matty Ice and are down by 1 with 1:05 left)

Punting is very important. Setting 'LONG' for casual teams to much higher than 4 makes sense because 3rd down passing sucks. My Scrambling QB went 2/4 and 1 run for 20 yards in my first scrim of elite 30. I had the run/pass set to 60/40, so I've gone the other way for next game to see if he runs a bit more.
No passing TDs, but had a lot of success with my two passing QBs on shorter routes.

I know it's early in preseason, but do the amount of drops seem a lot more than usual?

Passing is all around much more difficult so far this season.

Agreed and a lot of lower than normal scores, I know several havent spent sps, EQ, tactics and what not but still pretty low scoring league wide and even against the gutted teams

^^^This....I have many ideas for the game but implementing would be hard

We already do that... it goes away around level 34-38. As I said in the other thread, we're evaluating passing at the lower levels and might increase the buff if we feel it is needed.

I said we're evaluating it, I didn't say we'd be doing it.
Also read somewhere that they will make no changes to passing that they have already made.

Catch22 said this in Q&A
Unlikely there will be any more changes to the passing game as we are fairly pleased with what we are seeing at this point. We are evaluating passing in the minors and determining if we need to give a slightly larger buff than the one we currently have in place.
