Ok first, I'd like to say "Hi" to the new league. Even though the league will be broken up after this season, I just thought I'd stop in.
Second, a little about me. I've owned my team since the season 3-4 rollover. I've kept players their entire careers and moved up the ladder. Only getting to AAA. I had taken a couple seasons off (S17 & part of S18) and am getting back into the swing of things. For the first time, I've decided to hit the reset button and start back in a cap league and work my way back up. After I made the decision and recruited most of the team, they announced the new league structure for S20. (oh well).
Now for my question. Like I said, this is my first time dropping down. So my stadium, fan support, team chemistry and money was all reset.
I'm working on building my stadium back up, but now that I have to actually work on a budget to make sure all the players get paid for the entire season..I was wondering what ticket prices I should sell at. Its been many seasons since I had to use the team money for anything so I never worried about the team income. But now I have to be sure we have enough to cover the stadium and the salaries.
Right now I have my ticket prices set at 1.75 times expected. My fan support is only a 40/20/10 (man even with going 3-13 it was still 90/60/40). I was wondering if 1.75 is too low for this level of league with that fan support? I;ve made the mistake a few times in the past where I left the ticket prices too low and the entire stadium was sold out for the season on the first day all being season tickets. It didnt effect me then, but it could royally effect me now.
What do you think, is 1.75 too lo low to start with in this league with that fan support?
I really dont care about it being too high, I can always adjust it down day by day in the preseason and make my max $$. I just dont want it to be too low and lose out on millions of dollars thats needed to rebuild the stadium.
