I used the player builder script to see what my player's end build would look like. This is what I came up with. Keep in mind this does not include any equipment. What do you guys think?

i like it. looks very similar to the build that my returner will have:

although, i very well might take a break tackle piece and turn it into a spin piece to save SPs... or it might turn into a PT or stiff arm or even a juke or possibly a hurdle piece (if i have enough SPs to finish the build... which i should, but who knows) we'll see where the sim leads me.

I just ran one through and my strength isn't nearly as high as your guys. Can higher carrying make up for a lack of strength? Heres the final..

I figured custom eq plus a piece with rs on it would bring that rs up to 10. I didn't plan on putting too much into fs and cd since the dot will have 90 agi and not sure if returners need that much into those SAs anyways. Then maybe some percentages pieces. hard to say when who knows what the sim will be like then. Would probably bring agi and carrying up to 100 with eq and then put the rest of it into speed. Would this be an okay build you think?

Carrying > strength

I don't think I'll end with strength that high I was just running through to see what I would get. I might just 2:1 vision and strength and keep the rest for speed agility carrying..... Also your confidence is low...

Okay. thanks for the help guys. Looking at your builds I see I might have worried too much about stamina and/or vision. I can probably quit training those a little bit earlier to bring up strength and confidence a bit.

confidence doesn't need to be much higher than 2:1 and vision is debatable.... I'll tell you it's not as important as carrying or strength but others will tell you it's more important than both....

I think I have seen 2:1 vision be okay. And very high vision. But I have seen a lot of crazy weird crap out of dots with mid level vision. Looking at all the weird ass shit out of pathing this preseason I think I would rather get rid of some vision than stamina, and just take my chances at my dot running mainly straight ahead. Hard to say what the sim will want so many seasons after I unlock the multi train choices.

why so much jumping on those first few builds? i know it's supposed to help jump over diving tackles but a 43 and a 60?

Both of those are pretty fast built guys. At the end I just started to light train jumping. Probably would work stamina or conf a little more.

because most of the tackles on STs are diving... so, if you couple a decent break tackle score with a fair amount of jumping, im hoping it will help break more tackles than a conventional returner build. im also going to have spin, so that will also help things, but im fairly interested to see how much of an effect jumping has.
