Well, we'll see about season 19 as what bort/catch were saying in the QAsession didn't quite bode well for gap insta-sack blitzes. Dunno what's gonna happen but i'm sure a lot of teams will be adjusting

It will be because we laid an egg against the Masterminds, Smurfs and SoCal (all good teams that we couldn't afford to lose to). It will not be because of sim changes. My only point about sim changes was that it's impossible to tell who the best 32 teams are going to be before ssn starts, and sim changes are only one of many reasons. I sure the hell don't mean to come off as using that as a crutch or as any form of disrespect to whatever 16 teams make the POs. If we demote, flat out, it's my fault and no one elses

Yea, WL is a bitch like that. When you miss the playoffs because of 1-2 games or worse, tiebreakers, you look back a few games you put a little less time into or made an AI error or forgot to tag an obvious thing, etc.... It's brutal that small things like that end up being the difference

Hopefully they do fix it. I prefer sacks when coming from the outside anyway. Any dot with 120 spd can get a sack on the gap blitz, but it takes some real spd to get there from way outside the OT

Except they're also going to make it really hard to have mega speed if they change EQ or something else to keep top end speed down. Now what?

Then that would affect the WRs getting 20 yards downfield in 5 ticks as well I guess, meaning there would still be the same relative time to get to the QB on long passing plays

Yea, i mean everyone has to adjust to all the things and people act surprised when shit changes around here. Just gotta roll with it. If anything it'll keep people on their toes and from falling into a glb rut for better or worse
