I'm sure a lot (if not most) of you will disagree with me on this. But I think this current sim is extremely boring. I'd honestly rather watch the old sims where 95% of plays were slams/OTs than watch the current sim where 95% of plays are passes. Granted, there is more scoring now, but the passing game is so unrealistic in the sim that I can't watch. At least with the slams you can imagine a tough runner and a tough defense beating up on each other. The current sim is just "oh...another pass. Oh, another completion b/c the defender took an angle or acted in a way that no human player ever would."

Sorry,
/rant

I have to agree. Reason why in season 16 and on we went as a running team. Also being a rushing team and trying to pass just doesn't seem to work. After a while it just gets boring.

I've enjoyed watching the games much more this season than seasons past.

I think it is possible to be primarily run with some passing. We are tied for the league lead in completion percentage, lead in yards per attempt and are fourth in yards per completion, yet we rank 25th in passing attempts.

That's key, with some passing

I consider myself a rushing team and trying to pass.

Your doing something right, I think you have the training system figured out, we are still struggling with it. before the new changes I had it down pat.

Not true, our player SPs are way behind everyone else's. However, that was true before the new system. I decided what to train on a passing comment from jxgator. I never bothered to do my own math because I don't have that kind of time. My philosophy is to get players and tactics on the field that give me a chance of winning every game, but that don't take a ridiculous amount of time to prepare.

I think i figured out the new training system for CBs, LBs, TEs and QBs.....everything else is errr (maybe safeties, using a new D so im not sure at all)

I would disagree with the OP I find the 3 yards and a cloud of dust to be boring. I much prefer a passing favored sim. At least in the passing game there are more things to consider. Blitz/Don't blitz. Who do you double cover. How do you cover the backs. On offense how do you call plays to create man to man matchups. Do you keeps backs/ or TE in to protect against the blitz etc....

Just way more options and different philosophies in the passing game for both offense and defense. That is way more entertaining than here comes off tackle, Slam, and Dives.......when everyone knows it.

We have no clue what we are doing with the new training system even worse we are not real sure where the builds should be at the end anyway. Kind of hard to figure out how to train when you don't know where you need to be in the end.....

training well doesn't necessarily coincide with high SP value. I could take a QB and train punting, kicking, tackling, and blocking on 4x multi and get a sweet SP value (because you get better SP value by training lower leveled attributes).

The trick is to finding the right balance between solid builds and getting to that point the most efficiently.
