I think Justin Durant Jr disproved that claim pretty emphatically.

Underdawg08 Your friendly scrimmage challenge to Barren Landscape has been rejected.

Your Pro team afraid to play an AAA team? I wanted to see how your LB performs after seeing you in this forum forever telling people how it's done.

I bet I make that LB look silly multiple times.

try building one with lower vision and see how he plays. you might be surprised. plus it's one thing you really don't need most of your career... you can cap it add to it near the end.

As someone who has DC'd several Pro teams, a couple of WL teams, and looked at several Pro/WL level LB builds I can tell you I like how LBs with at least 70 vision perform much better than LBs with 60 vision, and when it comes to OLB (especially LOLB) 75-78 vision is much better than 70. In fact for non blitzing OLB, I not only like high vision, I like having super vision as an additional SA and maxing out the fg VA.

you sound like my DC mwoods. lol

I can see how high vision works better in zone.... but that's gonna be more pass defense only right?

for run plays I'm just not convinced higher vision is worth it. I know I'm in the minority here but I'll keep I sort of feel 70 vision is all you need? But i make up for vision with SA's, VA's, AEQ. avoid fake, SV, vision VA, etc

same way I keep tackling low... make tackle %, sure tackle, DVG

gives me more points for speed, agility, strength.

It's not as important inside as outside, but you can tell a difference in how quickly LBs react to outside runs, how well they avoid blockers, and the angles they take to make the play as vision is higher. Vision is also a part of the make tackle roll and helps prevent missed tackles.

I've seen a couple of pretty nasty blitzing LBs with vision under 70
