True, but Bleed's pass play selection was very limited and any good DC should have been able to shut them down. I played them in a scrim the day before they lost to FG and I held them low just using the scouting tool to see what plays they called. I am surprised more people don't do this.

I don't really understand why I'm the metric, but I appreciate it.

I mean, CSG were, without question, the most dominant passing team in all of PeeWee last season.

Gerr, you're glossing over some details when it comes to my play selection, but its ok. I'm trying to become more well rounded this season with Short Bus, for what its worth. 1-0 so far, so hopefully my luck keeps up.

Didn't mean to single you out Bleeds, only that your offense, which was very impressive last season, was one of the most pass heavy offenses in Gold and did very well. I actually thought you would have had the passing crown, not the Goats.

Though your defense did well last season, you said yourself it wasn't a complex offense and anyone using the scouting tool could see you only called a couple specific plays from each formation and anyone with a formation specific offense "should" probably be able to counter that offense.

But this goes back to my point that a passing offense, even a simple one with only a few plays being called, is still harder to setup than a simple rushing offense. I am sure many teams tried, but only a couple teams were able contain your offense last season.

I think you will do well this season if you balance your offense out more.

I didn't do anything special on defense for them. I actually didn't even gameplan on defense. The key to that game was using my offense to keep my stamina high and my defense rested in order to play better.

Thanks for the props once again .

If we played you any other time though, your defense you ran that game wouldn't have been as effective. Not saying you wouldn't have won, but we would've been more productive. That AI was geared for the Cocks, who I needed to try to take chances against. We usually had more plays in place to keep guys honest and not do what you did with your coverage schemes. I'm not knocking you, just pointing out that there was more to the story than "all you had to do was scout Bleeds and you could shut him down".

The flip side to that being that I'm not claiming to be some guru, either. Don't take it the wrong way as I really don't care about my perception in the league from a gameplanning standpoint. Players are gonna give props and haters are gonna hate, and as such, I don't care (granted, that's easy to say when people seem to have a positive opinion of you lol).

Basically, I did enough to try to keep defenses from being comfortable with selling out. Some times I would add onto it if I saw something new to exploit, but the basics were always the same. Just because it was simple doesn't make it beatable by doing some simple scouting though. If I could figure out how to build a decent fucking OL, I could probably have put up more of a fight against FG. (As an aside, I had a big description of the theory behind my playcalling written up and decided not to post it because I'm not sure its a good decision).

I'm not bashing you Gerr, by any means. But there were lots of people who tried to scheme to shut me down and failed hard. The only guy who was able to do it did it moreso with his superior builds (as he didn't change his gameplan all season lol) than his gameplanning.
