I'm trying to think about 1 season ahead.

Which would you rather have? Most likely 72+ vision.

10 SDC, 10 Super Vision

or

10 SDC, 23% Avoid Fake, 4-5 Super Vision

is make tackle % an option?

He already has a make tackle piece, a break block piece, a SDC piece and an SV piece.

The SV piece is currently +3 Conf, +1 SV fully upgraded. I'm looking to redo this piece with +3 Speed.

I could add SV as a 2nd trait and bump it up to 10 pretty easy, or in the bottom scenario, scrap it and get an avoid fake piece, and just bump SV up to it's current level at 5.

I imagine he'd be playing man vs. TEs quite a bit, I imagine the speed/agility boost is nice. Plus, getting it to 10 will have only cost me 6 SPs. same for SV in the first scenario.

so the question is whether points 5-10 in SV is worth 23% in avoid fake. hard to say. we don't know whether it's a hard bonus or a %. would be a good experiment though.

SDC is a hard bonus. As is SV. Our LOLB has 10+ in both and we guard TEs exceptionally well.
