Not really. Otherwise you get into a bad situation where teams with a huge player pool put qb's in average leagues to ensure MVP gear.

No, because the top5 MVPs is a lottery, so to do so would be fairly retarded...

You missed the "huge player pool" part. You stick 5 QBs in the league and then sign the MVP to the WL team.

Of course the alternative is just be a single free agent and win the MVP EQ, then get signed to a WL team, so it's not really any different. Teams with a bigger player pool to select from always have edges no matter how you slice it, that's the point of the huge player pool after all.

Fair enough. Still 5 top quality QBs all joining AAA teams on quality passing offenses is hardly an easy task tbh.
