Suryaba Fighting Sura at Mongolian Hoard this week. I guess we will see how accurate the power rankings are.

I'd give the Hoard a 3:1 or 4:1 favor in winning the game even though they're both at the top. To start, the Hoard's average starter level is above 13.5, while the Fighting Sura's is 10. The Hoard has a better kicking game too, when it comes down to critical FGs or punts. It'll be the Fighting Sura's first game of the season against a team with a winning record, so we'll see if they can pull it off.

Oh yeah. I'd say that's about right as well (3:1, 4:1). I understand that these rankings are both informal and not going to be that accurate until the playoffs get closer, as we'll have more numbers to gauge the strengths of each team. Levels aren't everything, but if both teams have players with equally good builds, it certainly can be.

Our game planning will have to be solid (mixed in with a lot of luck) to keep this one close, let alone eek out a win (did I mention we'd need some luck?). I expect us to be a lot stronger next season than this, as our agents have all known each other for a few years and have players on other teams to learn from their earlier mistakes. Frankly, I'll be happy with a playoff spot at the end of the year, and don't expect to win every game... especially ones vs the stronger teams in the league. (That is, at least not this season.) Although we have a few players that will be free mid-season that we plan on picking (no super high levels - my players that are higher are remaining on the other two teams I plan on/help coach), but they'll help us round out the team fairly well.

My main goal is to make sure that we game plan well for every game, and have fun doing so, losses and wins aside.

Do not sell your team short you are 4-0 for a reason and have a lot of talent. I think it will be great game. Best of luck on the rest of the season, just not against us.....

I'm looking forward to my game against the Bali Bullets too. They managed to get two amazing wins against teams that looked much better on paper, so hopefully this next game will be great too. I'm predicting it'll be a fairly low-scoring game for both teams if the Bullets get their tactics right, with the game decided by the ability to make field goals

And meanwhile, I'll be rooting for the Fighting Sura's to give us a great show against our division powerhouse.

Two unbeaten teams lost this week. I am interested in seeing how things shape up in this weeks rankings.

you were right aboutthe kicking game on this one... I thik that is why we won the game, 2 great punts and 3-3 field goals. That was what did it for us this game... Great Game Suryaba Fighting Sura. Good Luck in the rest of the season.

Yeah, that was definitely a game where field position played a huge role, and your ST DC was solid. I just hope we get a chance to play again in the playoffs.
