My only problem with this isn't that he posted this thread but failed so hard. You have to believe and be fairly confident you're going to be successful. Take Madcow and the Smurfs. They looked like one of the weaker teams in the World League. But they talked themselves up and actually backed it up. Gotta appreciate that.
