I dunno what the RT was trying to do, but he gave the DE a clear path to the QB....

I'm not sure there is actually anything here that is a bug. Both of these replays show that the RT, while completely failing, is pathed to block the DE whereas the recent thread about this to go through showed the OT's moving to the DT's and letting the DE's.

In this case, there could be a push back or just a broken block that is not accurately reflected in the visual. Marking as not likely a bug, but another mod might see it different. I just don't see a bug here myself.

I have trouble seeing that as not a bug. Its completely illogical. They're both going back to pass block, and the DE doesn't touch them.

In both situations it looks like the RT did engage the DE to me. However, I do believe that the RT did back up much farther than the LT when he shouldn't have. I am sending this to QA for further review.

i've seen this too but always saw it as working as intended. The rot thought the DE was gonna go outside and guessed wrong- i've seen this happen before in RL. what's the build look like?

Id also like to have a look at ROT builds please.

I am not seeing a Bug here. The replay, to me, looks like the RT was outmaneuvered in the play by the LE. I wouldn't mind seeing the builds of both the LE and ROT. I am willing to bet the LE has a High Break Block % coupled with some Investment into Shed Block

My personal opinion is that this is usually a build issue. The OT backpedals while trying to stay in front of the DE, but the DE takes a cut inside that the OT can't keep up with. OTs at this level don't always have speed and agility to their final levels yet, yet DEs often have already worked on those attributes and those OTs get outmaneuvered a lot at this level range.

The build order imbalances are improved a lot by the updated ALGs with Archetypes, too, so that won't be as much a forced issue at those levels down the road.

Can do. I mean like I could understand the build possibly in the second example, but IMO this is a good enough build to make a decent play on that.

My sentiments exactly. Vision is extremely important for pass blocking.

Just so it's more than just a "NEEDS MOAR VISION" thing - the ROT backs up to block the LDE but moves too far back since he failed at the LDE vision check. By the time he starts moving back it's too late and the LDE makes it through. That's not a bug, so second verification.
