The players who are in the Pros and WL right now didn't get to choose their weights...

It wasn't part of the rolling process back then.

I've seen plenty of teams with similar C builds - the one that weighs more generally gets rev. caked less often.

I'm more of a competitive lower level dot builder so I don't usually hit the forums for build knowledge or advice.. but I'm here perusing the boards because we are having the same problems with the Oline in competitive Pee Wee right now. There's no VAs, Advanced EQ, and very limited use of SAs. To simplify the question.. let's throw out all the higher level stuff for a second...

I think the problems starts off from Level 1 and up. Could it be as simple as....that an Olineman needs 3 attributes(strength/agility/blocking) to successfully block and a DT only needs 2 (strength/agility) to break block? There is no way I can build a Guard that can match a Pee Wee DT's strength and agility without sacrificing his blocking attribute. Which makes me think, maybe the block and break block roll needs to be re-evaluated. Bort needs to add a third attribute that plays a somewhat major factor in the DT's break block roll... being a DT in the NFL requires more than strength and agility, it also requires leverage and technique... etc.etc..

also, just wanted to say that the block/break block roll is probably a little more advanced than my example above... but strength, agility, and blocking are the biggest factors , correct?

My thoughts as well. Just seems unfair to say the least.

I have never understood why Centers only have 2. I would think a Center needs Strength, Blocking and Confidence. Sure agility and vision is needed, but the dude has 2 hands up his ass and looking down with a sweaty 300-400 pounder ready to bust that same ass . You have to be Confident to play Center i would suspect.

I have built Centers since season 2 and they have always taken it in the shorts. Got to be the most boring position to watch. Look, there he goes on his butt again. I have had fatty's and slim, both go down pretty much the same, maybe the fatty a little less.
