Can someone explain to me in layman's terms why the change in training and how it is going to affect the lower level players?

Who benefits from this?

How it affects PeeWee Players.
Positive and Negatively.

Confused on even how to train @ this point, which used to be a no-brainer has now become the epicenter of total chaos.

Some people are saying lower level players should train on normal others are saying Intense. Others are clueless like me.

What is the rule of thumb?

Its the day to start saving the point, for next seasons new Training system.

Can't be any clearer gentlemen. Believe me, this is all for your player(s) advantage.

Everyone needs to stock up 14 training points. That's 7 days of not training. Assume that the last day of Season 15 is Day 48, 49 ,or 50. So ideally, stop training on Day 41 or 42.

If you spend those 14 training points now you get zip for it.

If you spend those 14 training points during Season 16 you get 42 bonus tokens if you train on light.

Remember, lets be smart and start stocking in a couple of days.

Another note is to get AEQ Parts right now while you still can use player cash (Next season player cash is pretty much useless). Getting a AEQ with ether:

a good +1 SA only.. or a
%5 X for cheaper upgrade next season to a perfect part.
Even an +3~4 Attribute AEQ is a good investment .

So its all up to you, on what you want.

I don't know if stocking up now is the best option or not, but a few corrections:

1) If you spend the training points now you don't get nothing, you get the training gains. If you train on light training next season, you only get 40% of the current normal training. Also, under current normal training you get a shopping token. In the new system, it will cost 2 BT to shop.

2) Training on light next season costs 2TP, so the 14 TP that you carry over is only worth 21 bonus tokens, not 42.

So, if x = current normal training gains, then holding TP until next season is good if
21 BT + 7(.4x) > 7(x + ST)
21 BT + 2.8x > 7x + 7 ST
21 BT > 4.2x + 7 ST

In the new system, a shopping trip costs 2 BT, so

21 BT > 4.2x + 7(2BT)
21 BT > 4.2x +14 BT
7 BT > 4.2x

In the new system, 12 BT can be exchanged for 1 SP and , so using that as a default:

7/12 ST > 4.2x
7 ST > 50.4x
ST > 7.2x or x < 0.139

To gain 0.14, the attribute must be 45.
So, from this I would conclude that if you are training an attribute that is between 46-48, it is best to hold the TP to next season. In any other situation, the answer is not so clear, but in general if you are training an attribute that is very low, it is best to do it now. If you are training an attribute that is high, it might be best to wait.

A few disclaimers:
1) I did the math really quickly, so I may have made some mistakes.
2) I used 12BT = 1 SP because it is the most objective value. There may be situations where 12 BT is worth more than 1 SP.
3) If you train on normal this season, you will get 7 bonus tokens, which have been assigned a value of 14 BT. If you don't need to shop 7 more times, then their value is less than 14 BT.
4) This comparison is only between current normal training and the future light training because that was the situation described in the OP. There are other methods of training in both the current process and the new process. Results could be different if the other training methods are considered.

Thanks to tunski for raising this item. It wasn't something that I had thought of previously.

I do know that unlocking and training multiple attributes, according to catch's post is the most important thing to do....

It actually increase how much you train, as well as makes it cheaper, and it only cost a few BT to unlock.

Once I can train strength/speed/agility/vision all at the same time, with a greater bonus than training them apart, I'll have no more use for BTs.... besides trading them in for skill points.

I am considering on WRs adding an extra SA so that I can get both catch fake and catch in stride....

Although I am not certain, their is a point for pee-wee players where it is no longer BT efficient (its a lot earlier if you plan to train 4 attributes all season) to purchase training upgrades (the ones that give you extra %) because even a 50% increase to training near the middle of the season wouldn't compare to the 5-6 skill points you could of got for trading in those same BTs.

My training plan consist of, getting as many BT as possible, means training on light, until I've unlocked training the 4 attributes I choose, then I'll be doing that for the rest of the season, while trading in BTs for SPs....

--light = small training bonus (equal to 40% of what normal training currently is) +3 bonus tokens
Any bonus tokens you have that is not in AEQ when the new training system is rolled out will be tripled.

Thus in the new system, 2 TP = 3 Tokens
In the current system with the tripling, 5TP = 3 Tokens

Thus, if your goal is to get as many BT as possible in the start of the season, which mine is, you should save as many TPs as possible (plus make sure its odd, can't go throwing away that free TP they'll be giving us.

If you are going for training value, BTs being unweighted

--intense = largest training bonus (equal to 110% of what normal training currently is) +1 bonus token

New system, 2 TP= 110% of normal training
Current system, 2TP = normal training

Therefore, essentially whoever said its a bad idea to save up those 14TP is an idiot.
