If the laker girls had trouble with russell westbrook penetrating, how are they going to stop rondo from doing the same?
Who's going to guard rondo, derek "i should be a retired guy" fishering? kobe? If kobe guards rondo, then you have fisher on ray ray??
The real question is how soon are perkins and artest going to go at it? my moneys on perk..

westbrook is a little different... more of a scorer. better shooter (not by a ton), but it's easier to penetrate when your defender isn't slacking off of you (not that that stops rondo).
kobe and fisher are definitely going to rotate. you don't want kobe chasing ray around all game on their defensive end (conserve for the other end)... and you don't want him one on one with rondo either (?fouls). clearly whoever fisher has needs to step up.
if/when perk gets his 7th tech... i don't think the c's can win the next game without him.
i think gasol is going to be the series defining player. he averaged 13 rebs/game against okc and utah, and 7 against pheonix. the drop against pheonix is more due to how those games were played, than him sucking..... i don't know if KG can keep him off the glass.

and yeah... pretty boring. no runs. ray allen in foul trouble... tony allen can't spread the floor, bleh.
part of the reason that was a boring game was the amount of personal fouls/free throws too.
