Couple of upsets in Lion this week leaving some unexpected matchups.
(1) Wallachia vs (5) Houston: The first meeting was forced sodomy and the Space Cowboys not only had to endure the GLB version of being on the receiving end of some Brokeback Mountain lovin' but they had to pretend they liked it. But as Houston showed in week 1, if they can hold onto the ball and chew up yards on the ground, they can play some good dot ball. Wallachia meanwhile won't be looking for another shellacking like they dished out the first time but is confident they will march on through the Cowboys. How badly depends on which Cowboy posse shows up.
Wallachia 56-10
(2) Cagliari vs (6) Tanzania: Very interesting matchup here as the Jacks gave Cagliari a good game the first time around. Tanzania is obviously clicking on all cylinders at the moment after they ambushed the Hunters in week one but Cagliaria would love another opportunity at Wallachia and I just can't see them losing here.
Cagliari 35-13
Elephant: Don't know much about them except whoever wins from there will get the chance to lose to the Lion team.
(1) Stu vs (5) Guyana: The generalissimos gave Stu all they could handle earlier in the season and have the tools to make this an interesting game. But I still get the feeling Stu is just going through the motions until they reach the finals.
Stu 45-13
(2) Fat Jaws vs (3) Darfur: Excellent matchup that FJB took in their first meeting. Both teams are tough and this one is tough to call. I'm gonna give the nod to Darfur just b/c they didn't suffer the late season swoon like FJB.
Darfur 31-22
