SHORT SHORT OVERVIEW for ATTENTION IMPAIRED: here's the gist of it, 20 team or 15 team tournament depending on the agreed upon length of the tournament in which top teams from each league play each other each year, but stay in their home pro league. Then each year the top 2-4 teams in each league play each other determined by what's in this thread that is tl;tr salary cap increases for one year will be incentive

Nope. Putting a tournament on top of the regular season is too much to ask for any team. And extending the offseason for that reason is also a bad idea. The current setup is just fine.

I kinda thought a champions league, much like UEFA's would be good. If it's done automatic, not making the individual teams handle scheduling, etc.

But now... whateva...
