Michigan Mutants (8-1) vs. Cream City Crushers (8-1)
I think we may see Cream City in the game of the week several times over the next few weeks as 4 out of their next 5 opponents are 8-1 or better. That is one hell of a gauntlet.
I had to go into some rather deep analysis to figure this game out....there are several key concerns to take into account for this week's game.
Depth....Michigan doesn't really have it with only 38 human owned players.
Special Teams....Michigan wins this battle with Returnz TD's....He gets a TD on over 60% of his returns.
Offense....Cream City is way ahead here. Orlando Swift is one of the best HBs in the league, and all Cream City's Defense needs to do is shut down rushing QB Mark Sanford.
Cream City by 24.
Eastern Conference
It's a toss up because there is a struggle to find a competitive game in the east this week.
American Terrorists (9-0) vs. Scranton Wilkes-Barre Menzingers (7-2)
or
Cincinnati Convicts (6-3) vs. Bridgeport Brawlers (6-3)
In the first matchup, I am sorry to say to Scranton that your team is not from Hollywood or Pasadena, and as such, you pose no threat to the American Terrorists.
In the second matchup, Cincinnati has proven to be a much better team when comparing common opponents. The Pasadena Patriots only beat them by 42, while Bridgeport lost to the Pats 210-0.
Unfortunately, both of these possible games of the week are going to be blowouts....however, next week we can look forward to Hollywood Decepticons vs. Pasadena Patriots.
