If you still rely on someone else's work to get you started, you won't know WHY they are making the changes that they have made. I've been asked many times by people to get in as a GM and see my tactics and builds. I'm happy to answer questions and to steer people in the right direction, but as far as letting ANYONE in to see everything... there are just some secrets that shouldn't be out there.

That's why I'm happy to be an Owner/OC/DC/Special Teams GM/Scout/Build manager... Nothing really gets out that way.

Amen...

I agree. Experiment builds might fail now but it would definitely benefit your team in the long run. I make at least some minor adjustments almost every season and it has benefited our team than vice versa. This season is an anomaly since I think I made some changes I probably shouldn't have and although it's hurting our performance somewhat, I know it'll eventually make us a better team.

I'm on the same bandwagon as TT here. I've never been afraid to let owners of other teams be agents on my team knowing full well my forums are full of game tactics, player builds, training tricks, and all that crap because a) they'll figure it out anyway and b) I'm always happy to show people the ropes. I do an experimental build at each position almost every season.. not all out crazy style.. but if I create a 5-6 man core of LBs for my team, 1-2 of them will always be experimental. Some things work out great, some suck and you watch your shitty dot run your team out of the playoffs Though I've yet to let just anyone see my AI work (since it's too easy to rip) I have let a few agents see it over time but mostly guys who already know what they're doing and just want to see what kind of depths other teams go to (and also have shared philosophies with me).

You were a MMD agent at one time, weren't you?

I can't keep track anymore.

It'd be interesting to see teams agent history that have been around for a long time. I know there's a lot of owners in Gold and solid Silver teams who have been agents for me at one time, and that number is increased even more for teams like SBWL or other teams that use to openly recruit on the forums.

Very nice. I'm going to add a column of "first place finishes without trophies" for my page since we have no Gold images to admire
