In an effort to liven up these forums, I am going to start doing one game of the week post for each conference.

Western Conference

San Diego Warriors (5-2) vs. Cream City Crushers (6-1)

Cream City has the statistical advantage in this match up with a higher average player level, and it appears that their GM staff has a few more trophies under their belt. I fully expect to see Cream City go to 7-1, but we will see if the Warriors can pull any tricks out of their sleeves.

Eastern Conference

Northeastern Ninjas (5-2) vs. Red Cloud Juggernauts (3-4)

Red Cloud has had a tougher schedule so far this season so don't be concerned by the difference in team records, they seem to be a fair match this week. The Ninja's SSB Gunslinger Lincoln Haver has had a good season so far, and I expect to see them air the ball out today. It remains to be seen if they can contain the Juggernaut's return man William Moore II as he has been very explosive on Special Teams. I just hope to see Sackin Your Sorry Azz in on a lot of plays so I can see that Avatar more often. http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1824950

Because of better blocking by the Ninjas, I expect them to hold the pocket better and create the needed rushing lanes to keep their offense moving and win this game.

Well, I managed to pick the closest scoring game in the Eastern conference and the 3rd closest in the West.... I was grasping at straws trying to pick games of the week as none of them seemed close.

Thanks for doing these, I was thinking about starting something like this, but just don't have the time.

I fully agree, I hope Sackin gets a good deal of sacks.

There is such a talent gap between the playoff teams and non-playoff teams that it will be hard to find close games. Even within the playoff teams in the East there is a huge drop off after the top 4 teams. The Ninjas are a good playoff team in the conference but we honestly can't hang with the big boys up top. We have too many roster holes to be made up with tactics.
