So last season I started some O-line people to help out a team long term. I'm currently thinking splitting his equipment 1/2 and 1/2 agility and blocking. I took his str to the 77 cap already, will that give him enough str later on in his career to be effective on the edge or should I re-think what I am doing with his equipment?

Just remember that if you are a LT that you will be going with the SA Protector which gives a bonus to Blocking/Agility/Speed...and it does NOT give a bonus to Strength. I would say you need strength at about 100 or more for a LT...but that is just what I like...there are others who say you need less.

You won't face a RDE with over 77str until over level 40 (maybe even50), so follow the plan you have and put some EQ into Str later in his career.

I think your plan is fine. I wouldn't upgrade all his eq once it starts getting expensive, so that if you fourth or fifth cap say blocking while leaving agility low, you can move 1 or 2 pieces of eq into agility.
