I'm going to be doing a power rankings that i'll post every four days (2 games). I'll update this one tomorrow night to reflect game 2 results. This is just the bare bones to look at for now. The number to the right is the preseason rankings that i wasn't able to post because my dsl got fried by a lightning strike and i wasn't able to get online.

1- Fuji Flying Foxes-(2)
2- Fuji Stingers-(1)
3- Alice Spring Rock Wallabies-(3)
4- Newcastle Mountain Lions-(4)
5- Brisbane Troyfins- (5) could move up if they'd get rid of the cpu depth
6- Guadalcanal Gunners- (6)
7- Devonport Devils- (10) game 1 loss to Flying Foxes but a solid roster should give them future success
8- Tasmanian Swarm- (9) game 1 loss to gunners but a decent roster should have them in the playoff hunt.
9- Rockhampton Raiders- (8) game one loss to the mountain lions but decent starters. need to get rid of the cpu depth and they could move up a spot or two.
10- Wollogong Shaved Pussycats or WSP from now on in these rankings- (7)
11- Dharma Initiative- (13) could move up quite a few spots with good recruiting
12- Redcliffe Sharks- (11) another team that needs to get rid of cpu depth
13- Hamilton Falcons- (12)
14- Perth Pirates- (14)
15- Lexington Armada- (15)
16- Noumea Mantas- (16) needs to get rid of cpus and start recruiting humans if they don't want to be the whipping boys of Oceania.

Yeah it's too bad you can't see builds. If you didnt have a team in here I'd let you take a peak at ours.

Raiders are going down today. You might as well move the Falcons up a few spots right now.

Ok, game 2 results have really shuffled the rankings. Now it's more about what's put out on the field and less about what's put on paper.

1- Fiji Flying Foxes- (1) dominated a bad team, but that's what good teams do
2- Fiji Stingers- (2) continues the dominance by the Fiji teams. Did what it should.
3- Newcastle Mountain Lions- (4) shut out a possible playoff team in all phases of the game
4- Guadalcanal Gunners- (6) same theme as above, beat the team it should have without breaking a sweat
5- ASRW- (3) struggled against a middle of the pack team, doesn't bode well for them as the next two games are against the Fiji power houses.
6- Rockhampton Raiders- (9) played a team more along their level and won easily, gave up a free td to hamilton in the closing minutes.
7- Tasmanian Swarm- (8) played tough and pulled off a last minute fg to win the game. will need to continue this level of effort to move higher.
8- Dharma Initiative- (11) If they could complete their roster, they'd be much more competitive, until then they're fodder for the top teams.
9- WSP-(10) They played their hearts out and beat a team that looked better on paper. That's why the games are played.
10- Hamilton Falcons- (13) "Vapor Trails" performed well, but they still need some help. normal growing pains of a young team.
11- Redcliffe Sharks- (12) They played ASRW tough and showed a lot of heart. A few more human players and that could have been a win.
12- Brisbane Troyfins- (5) This is the biggest tumble down the rankings and it's due to having a team that almost is complete but not quite there. finish recruiting and they could skyrocket right back up the poll.
13- Devonport Devils- (7) Another tumble down the rankings because of cpu's. They could have handled the swarm if they were a complete team.
14- Perth Pirates- (14) Needs to pressgang some more humans into service.
15- Noumea Mantas- (16) moves up one spot just on the basis of the shellacing Lexington received
16- Lexington Armada- (15) The Armada is sinking, I'm sure the captain is trying to turn the ship in the right direction.

Next set of rankings will be posted on Wednesday.

You know it's all in good fun.

Good game today. I thought you'd try to run it a bit. See you in the playoffs.

Still I think he's got the Falcons rated a little to low, but of course I'm biased.

oh well, I had to be optimistic.

If Benjamin Linus can whip the DHARMA guys, so can we.
