No, don't invest in advanced equipment for at least another 20 levels, from level 40 onwards you get better equipment..

This morning I got:

+3 Strength, +1 Line General SA, once I upgraded it ended up being, +2 blocking, +7 strength, +4 Line General SA.
&
+2 Confidence, +1 Foundation SA, once I upgraded it ended up being, +2 blocking, +2 confidence, +4 strength, +4 Foundation SA

buy it, use it, and if something better comes along later go ahead and get something else. Why not use it now. Just don't shop too much til you get aroud lv 40 (you get better eq. and you roll 5 peices instead of 4 or the 3 I think you're rolling right now).

Unfortunately that is not a worthwhile option now. From day 1 of this season when you sell Advanced Equipment, you will no longer get the Bonus Points you pumped into it. So rather than losing all of them it is better to wait.

That announcement is referring to the changes that were made to certain items like % Bonuses. If you had those items already, you could return convert and return specific items at no cost.

You still get your bonus tokens back if you sell back advanced equipment. Buy the Line General piece now and be productive for the next 10 seasons, then trade up for a better Line General piece.
