A look at the games from week 1 in the Zeta Conference.

Camelot 69, Hamburg 10
Camelot steamrolled the Pirates. The offensive line, with T Nizzle and his 26 pancakes (yes, 26), paved the way for over 500 yards rushing by the Kings. GivinUTha Pike was the top performer with over 300 yards rushing and 5 TDs, including this one, his second 70+ yarder of the game.

Cologne 45, Gibralter 7
Cologne capped a 28 point barrage in the second quarter with this run by Kenny Irons, Jr. with less than 2 minutes remaining in the first half. Gibraltar never got back in it.

Brighton 34, Leige 0
The Bears D held the Roosters to negative 15 yards rushing and sacked the Rooster QBs three times. Jimmy Jons got two of them. This one came in the second quarter.

Copenhagen 7, Rockaway 30
Rockaway did little wrong in this 20+ point thumping in their home opener. Golden Accuracy threw for 163 yards, including this 49 yard TD.

Eindhoven 28, Downey 13
The Breakers won the battle in the trenches rumbling for over 200 yards while holding Downey to 19. Tyler Wild pitched in over 100 and a TD, but the play of the day was this interception return by linebacker Dan Donahue.

Chelsea 28, Bay Area 17
The Invaders had no answer to the Chelsea running game. The Cardinal backs combined for 230 yards and 3 TDs. Disco Dawson scampers in here from the 7, making the score 21-10 midway through the 3rd quarter. The Invaders would answer with a TD of their own later in the quarter, but the Chelsea holds on for the victory.

Italian Stallions 17, Ironton 13
A defensive battle, this one was close all the way to the end. Randall "Pink" Floyd led the Stallion offense by throwing for over 150 yards and a touchdown. Strong safety Vera de Milo came away with two interceptions, including this one in the fourth quarter that set up what proved to be the game-winning TD.

Rome 16, Helsinki 10
Another hard fought game in this one. Despite turning the ball over 3 times, Rome holds on to this one on opening day, due in no small party to LANDRY JONES who racked up 90 yards and this TD catch to cap the Bulls opening drive of the second half.

Seeing as sacks with lost yards count in the stats as negative rushing, they can't really have "held" us to negaitve rushing yards.

Well, maybe in the sense that we pratcially didn't rush past the game line for the entire game, yes, they held us. God we badly need human players!

First off to answer the bruised ego of the Liege Roosters... Sacks count toward your rushing total in NCAA as well as GLB it appears. You lost 15 yards on 3 sacks and finished the game with -15 yards rushing. If you want to say those sacks don't count as rushing yards (which they do of course), you still had zero.

Thanks everyone else. I'll try to do something at least for my conference. I'll pick up both if I have more time maybe, or someone else can do that for them?
