Your true chance at greatness lies ahead in the playoffs where it is inevitable that the right to face the GRiTs in the Championship will have to go through your nemesis the Rhino's! Let me know a little something about that matchup earlier with the Sons?

Nice writeup RJ...One could argue that we deserve the #2 spot, but one can argue just as easily that we're where we currently belong. Either way, this is all just messing around until the real games start. As always, thanks for the writeup.

Thanks RJ for the write-ups. Well done. I am a bit nervous and thanks for spotting the blood so I can get my shit together for the final stretch of the season. As rookies to APL, It has been an unbelievable ride with lots of fun and excitement. The veterans represent the League well and it is a pleasure to be a part of it. We will take one game at a time in our shoes.

I think there are at least 5 teams who could claim to be number one, but when push comes to shove their is no comparison between Elephant and Lion this season (no disrespect intended). I honestly think the Top 5 of Elephant are as good as the Top 2 teams in Lion, and 7, 8, 9 & 10 of Elephant could compete for a 3-8 seed in Lion as well. Lion seems to be younger while Elephant has the old dogs of APL this season. But my honest to goodness Top 5 teams, order being meaningless here would be:

1) PP
2) Rhino's
3) GRiTs
4) Carthage Clash
5) Sons of Anubis

That being said, you have Kickin, The Hounds and Warthogs who could all be mixed in that bunch and it would be tough to argue...All that aside, APL is a very strong Pro League this season and any of teams being mentioned could compete in any Pro League.

Yeah, African Pro is a tough League. Those 8 teams wouldn't do that bad in World League either. We were 2-1 against the World League in Rated Scrimmages this season and GRITS did very well against the Dogs in a rated scrimmage. Just think of APL next season with the addition of the Dogs or Port Hardcourt. Please let them be put in Lion!!!!

I think you guys underestimate teams like JJ, Storm, Semnikati, War Els & Fever (though Fever confuses me...they can look so good and then just sort of blah. I wonder if they don't always put forth their top effort). Honestly, no BS, I REALLY don't want to play JJ in round 1. I REALLY don't. It's damn easy to underestimate the teams that you don't have to play or GP for. I do agree that El is tougher, but no way near as much as you El guys think.

The feeling is definitely mutual!
