I find it disturbing how ridiculous an advantage Alpha teams have, as far as scoring differential goes. Alpha has two punching bags that any decent team is guaranteed 100 points against.
Look at the passing touchdowns leaders. Chattanooga's QB now leads with 10, but 8 came against Warsaw. I'm not saying Chattanooga's a bad team, but perhaps when formulating power rankings, all wins that come against Warsaw and Volgograd could be disregarded as far as point differential goes.
Take out scoring differential and put more emphasis on overall team ratings. The Lookouts still do well in that category!
I'd suggest making any point differential greater than 28 points worth the same. In other words, a 38-3 blowout against a good team is equal to a 112-0 shutout of a peewee league squad. It's simple and achieves the same thing.
all i say is WE WILL SEE!!!
