GAME OF THE WEEK - Tough pick this week since I don't really know the teams well enough yet. I do like Cybertron however and feel that Nairobi got a bad draw in week 1 so this should be a good game.
Nairobi Death Squad vs Cybertron War Machine
The Death Squad suffered a setback against the Silverbacks in week 1 while Cybertron went on to win a game that wasn't as close as the score might lead you to believe. I picked those little War Machines in week 1 and I'm going to do it again here because something tells me this is one of those teams that is all about the game plan and the builds.
Somali Pirates vs West Yorkshire Bandits
The Pirates came out in week 1 and made a big statement with a win over the Sting making them 1 of only 5 Lion teams to win a game in week 1. The Bandits on the other hand had their hands full with a very tough Dead Presidents squad. After one week I've got to give the nod to the Pirates in a big win.
Fulham Flying Hellfish vs West Nile Mosquitos
West Nile is just not ready for the hell that Fulham is going to unleash this week.
Hungry Hungry Hippos vs Saskatoon Vulcanos
The Hippos made a huge statement with a shutout win over the Doom and I expect the same this week as they coast through a bye week.
West Coast Rage vs LHC Naked Turtles
This is a toss-up since I have no idea if LHC is still game planning even though it's a CPU roster now. The Rage have more depth but it's a CPU team. This comes down to whether or not someone is setting up tactics for games IMO. Without knowing that I've got to with the Rage based on depth alone. Either way, this will be one of the few victories either team will see this season.
Algeria Dune Hoppers vs Nile Crocodiles
Algeria got a rough draw in week 1 and Nile got a pretty easy draw. This week will be tougher for the Crocs but they should still pull away with the victory here even though it won't be by as large a margin as their first game.
Sterling Bulldawgs vs Carolina Flying Tigers
The Bulldawgs suffered a tough loss in their first game on the heels of their QBs implosion with 2 key turnovers on scoring drives. Carolina suffered a huge setback against Barcelona as well. Both teams need to get things turned around fast if they want to get into playoff contention and it has to start this week. If the Dawgs keep the mistakes to a minimum they should win a tight one here.
Alexandria Crimson Evil Aces vs Burundi Bucsh Warriors
The Aces are a top notch organization and I don't know much about Burundi but they made a big statement in week 1. I was leaning towards Alexandria based on past performance but on further inspection their OL depth may be what kills them here. The Aces need their defense to really step it up but I think Burundi walks away with one and never looks back.
