Warrior General Games

Even with all the cpu type teams, its still no cake walk for any team. There will still be 12-13 very good teams battling it out in each conference. Its not like half the league is cpu filled.

This thread ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=3691338&page=1 ) expresses the concerns of many of the Pee Wee owners and agents which are all clearly in agreement that if teams are not going to put forth an honest effort, they should not be in the Gold League. In the inaugural season of the Pee Wee Gold League, my own team the Tokyo Thoroughbreds were promoted in after winning a league championship. However, because the plans for a Pee Wee tier system were not in place when mid season recruiting was going on, I made the decision to use my Pee Wee team to slow build with. I was then stuck in the Gold League during Season 11, where most teams scored 200 points against us. Forcing teams to stay in the Gold League when they are not going to put forth the effort is counter productive, and does not promote quality games.

I see where you(Bort) have already rejected a request for demotion to the Cameron Copperheads, but I beg that you go to Bort and ask him to reconsider.

I just opened another ticket asking for them to re-visit this....

I doubt if they've given it much thought with all the other things going on right now. I can't see why they would leave teams in Gold that don't want to field competitive teams. Especially when they have no desire to fill their roster regardless of what league they are assigned.

I just want time to clean up my AI .. I might just go ahead and do that this week and go CPU.

Yeah, don't mention 'cleaning your AI'. I think they misconstrue that as...going down to copper to perfect your AI while beating up on new GM's. I believe that's the big misconception, is that teams got tired of Gold, so they want to win at lower levels.

But I agree that since they'll be re-shuffling a lot with the new level 4 leagues that this would be a great time to go ahead and re-shuffle Gold.

In the past 3 seasons I have created so many damn defenses... alot I don't use anymore ... I need to delete the old ones.. come up with a naming scheme for my new ones..change names.... then I can export to another team.
