Ironton vs Houston
Both teams are a overall 69 on the lolbars. I look at Houston and all the talent, but can't figure out how they are 8-8. I am a little biased on this pick, as I can't see Houston putting he ball in the endzone more than once at best. Ironton advances 45-10.

Luxumbourg vs Uganda
The infamous 4/5 game. Luxembourg impressed me by their gameplanning last week against the Tanks, and have a great Run/Pass combination. Uganda is a straight forward team who wants to run it down your throat, and has a pretty good defense. Lux won 37-14 in their first meeting, and will win again. Lux advances 27-22.

Wallachia vs The Gigolos
The Gigolos have a pass happy offense, and just when you think they are going to run the ball, they still pass. Wallachia is GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. With the running combo of Lee/Screwed/Vicktimizer they are tough to stop. Wallachia won 90-0 early in the season, same result. Wallachia advances 72-13.

Le Thor vs Serengeti
The past two games, Le Thor hasn't looked the same as they did the previous 14. It may have been lack of game planning due to time restraints, but for whatever reason they haven't looked the same. They still have Cooper, who may be the best RB in the conference, and should rely on him today. Serengeti did go out a pick up a couple of nice FA's in the last couple of days, only bettering a solid team. You have to wonder if the Chemistry hit will hurt them. Le Thor advances 23-21.

Sorry was slack. Late night combined with a flat tire this morning and a lunch hour spent running home to let the Direct TV guy in means no rankings pre-game. I'll go along with the above predictions except I'll throw out an upset special here. Serengeti surprises the Bats 19-17

will have time tonight after kids are in bed to prepare the round 2 writeup

I guess, I'm no Jimmy the Greek.
Congrats to Uganda and Serengeti on the upsets.
Just finished watching the Uganda/Lux game.
Wow, those three 2nd half TOs were a death sentence....but Lux still almost pulled off the comeback with a late TO of their own, but just ran out of time. A really great game.
Congratz to Uganda.

GG Houston.

GG Lions It was a nail biter at the end. Maybe the best game I've watched all season.

Thanks. This was our last game since I am packing it in this team at the end of the season, so I would've loved to have gotten further, but it was not to be. You guys pounded the ball well and played well. Congratulations to you and thanks to everyone in Lion Conference for a great season. If you see anyone on my team that you want, I'm sure they would love to hear from you since they will all be looking for a new team next season (unless they are planning to retire, of course). It's been fun, guys.
