You can very easily make your own team lose if you wanted to win 1000 flex (since clearly that would be the first thing you'd have ever won). That is the logic behind that rule. Bottom line is that it's his competition. You don't have to play. You don't like the rules, don't play.

That's just the thing. ABD isn't really non-competitive in the traditional GLB sense.

ABD will get blown out by a select few top teams, but will lose by 20 or so to a lot of the "good" teams, and will manage to win a few games that some people think they shouldn't.

I still think, with a proper game plan, ABD can really upset some teams. The win vs. Nairobi was definitely an upset at this point in the season.

ABD is one of those teams that, come playoff time, might have a shot at playing spoiler to one of the potential 7/8 seed teams.
