is he where he needs to be for his level? is he good for his level?

Where he should always be is out in front of the running back, clearing a hole for him. Just watch your replays and make sure your FB is doing his job.

Are you serious? You have more points in carrying than blocking. A FB is supposed to block. If he can't block he is worthless. Right now your FB is a RB not a FB. First make a blocking FB than maybe a few points in carrying near the end of his build. But right now you are losing lvl cap points because of the wasted points in carrying. JMO I know this is not what you want to here but almost every team in GLB uses the FB as a blocker not a runner.

Not bad but begood42 has a point. He either needs to be a scat FB or a blocking FB. Combo FB's really wont cut it until very late in their careers.

First of all, the advice below is terrible:

1) Carrying has the same auto-gain as blocking, and is therefore an equally valid choice for early investment.
2) Folks who don't think FBs should run the ball don't have much experience at high levels in this game
3) A little bit of carrying is actually pretty helpful for a FB in receiving patterns as well.
All that being said...your build is off to a pretty rocky start. Focus on strength, agility, and either carrying or blocking for the next 20 or 30 levels and you will get back on track a bit.

Taut already touched on the main points of stupidity, but your post is so full of fail that I felt the need to add even more...
1) A well-built offensive FB is worth their weight in gold to a halfway competent OC.
2) Most teams use FBs as only a blocker because... there's not many well-built offensive FBs out there or they just have incompetent OCs.
3) A blocking FB that puts a few points into carrying at the end of their career, is basically useless as a runner.
4) A FB can be an effective blocker without being a blocking build. I do fine as a blocker with my whopping 57 blocking.
5) FBs aren't only supposed to block, they have multiple specializations for a reason. Some are blocking builds, some are offensive builds and some are balanced between the two roles.
To the OP: here's my basic breakdown of the FB position, it's not a build guide, it's more of a philosophical look at the position... http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=2755920 After reading that, search the GLB wiki for "cap building" guides and combine the two.
