Last season they gave up 2 sacks period, yesterday they gave up six in one game to DE's 2-10 levels lower. Any observations would be appreciated.

By the way the ROT had +5 str temp boost for this game and he was being pushed around like a rag doll.

As a general rule for OTs. I usually aim for the following skill levels with eq for my OTs over level 55.

100+ strength, 80+ blocking, 80+ agility.

Basically I have not seen value in having blocking over 80 since the introduction of VAs. VAs and SAs give enough bonuses to blocking to make 80 enough. Agility is what is most likely killing your player. 70 just doesn't cut it anymore from my experience.

I've been observing that as well, and can probably shift around eq for the younger OT, but probably not the older guy. I was following the even blk/str approach that was popular before the DE's started going crazy on agl. The thing with looking at these sacks is that it looks like the OT's were thrown out of the way and not beaten by pure spd/agl. I'm not saying they should never give up a sack, but six in one game is a little extreme. In two plays it even looked as if the OT backpedaled to quickly and gave an open shot at the QB.

yeah sacrifice some blocking and get some more agility

Foundation and agility are too low. Protector will also help the LT.

Not enough speed. Not enough agility. Not enough strength. Too much blocking.

There is some buggy OL code, you can't stop all sacks this season, but most of those just look like the OT isn't strong enough to hold back the DE.

True on all counts, but unfortunately I didn't start boosting in time for the ROT to develop him fully so he's not going to get much better. Although I'm hoping he's still allowed another round of boosts for next season which would help with some of his flaws.
The LOT is still progressing, unfortunately I hadn't intended on him being a LOT at the start, at least with him I can swing some eq around. I have a younger ROT that I went with less blocking combined with some good hold block % pieces, and I think he is going to be very good.

BTW - LOTs need less blocking than ROTs. True story...they have Protector to help them out

Most AAA LOT's (haven't had the chance to see many pro builds yet) I've seen sacrifice strength for blk/agl, they also have high Protector 10-15, so they almost never give up a sack. Unfortunately that means they get squashed on run plays though.

I haven't had any problems since the code change, but we haven't had a strong opponent yet.
