I just made a private forum, check this post over in announcements:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=3567575

I'd love to have some of you on board. This will definitely keep the stress off me while letting me have fun the only way I know how in this game: Doing something out of the ordinary. The team will primarily be in building phases while I do school stuff and, even if not, I can do a lot of the initial setup during the offseason.

Pretty much, though, anyone that knows me knows that I love coming up with crazy ideas, and knows how excited I get to formulate just how they'll work. So doing it with a whole team, and with agents backing me up, makes it even more fun.

I hope this doesn't mean a full drop down and reset....

I know recruiting can be a bitch but.... after season 12 I only had 14 people on my roster and today I like my team at 54 players.... I think I am pretty solid in every position for just picking up players most of which I did not even know before this season.....

Sure I also have a farm team that I may bring over next season, (if we don't go to the World League), but I think its a lot easier to recruit for Pro teams than you guys are thinking....

We'll see, we started in season 2, we are getting old and this might be the last season unless I decide to recruit my ass off in the off season. I work 12 hours a day so it's hard for me to do it and the other guys are kind of tired of the game but I would like to get a Pro title before we gut.

Now that you are in the OrangeBlood forum recruiting will be a little easier than you think... I think recruiting would be so much easier for GMs if there was a Transaction History tab instead of a Trade History tab...

Yeah no shit, we have a small network of team that we trade between but not much lately.

I've thought about this, and talked it over with a couple of people that I trust to steer me in the right direction. The Gangsters were fun while they lasted, and I enjoyed owning this team for the past twelve seasons. I appreciate the loyalty from each and every one of you -- those that have helped GM, those that have helped me when I got emo, and those that have played on this team, you guys made this game great for me despite us never winning trophies.

This was a hard decision for me to come to, but I don't have the time or energy to dedicate to keep up with each season's massive changes, and it is better off that I give each player on my team the best option to have the most fun in their last season possible -- set the team free. I like to think I've been a good owner for these past 12 seasons, and I see this as my last act as said good owner.

Thanks again, all. It has been a fun ride. I'll be keeping a ton of my players -- after all, I have a gigantic pile of flex. If anyone would like to talk with me about my O line for their farm team, by all means. They need to stay together, though. I'll entertain GM offers from any team that wants to send them, also.

Classy owner, always been fun battlin' with you over the many seasons.
Sorry that it took me until now to say it, life's just getting busier. Why I all but disbanded my team, too.
