Last season we had a glut of teams in Alpha beating up on each other which made for some exciting and important match-ups down the stretch. I don't remember Zeta being all that competitive other than the top couple teams.
This season we had the teams in Zeta beating up on each other down the stretch. In Alpha, Trondheim was in control from early in the season but things were up in the air for 2nd through 4th until Belfast beat Birmingham in a close game in week 15.
It's been a very fun league. A big thanks to Neo for doing rankings for each of the past two seasons and a big thanks to all the owners, GMs, and agents for making it such a great league.
The Wolves will be demoting to a 14-capped league next season. The Wolves are one of two "farm" teams for the Naples Purple Nurples of Western Europe Pro. With most of the current Nurples retiring we'll be pulling players from the Wolves and the other team to fill the void. Many of the Wolves were original Nurples back in season 6. As we've recruited to keep the Nurples competitive at every level of competition as they've been promoted, we've moved those original players to the Wolves. Since the Wolves will be losing the bulk of their roster, we picked them as the team to demote to be our season 13 14-capped team.
