Yeah. I understand why it is not playoff seed (Imagine a 15-1 team is the #2 seed in Zeta but a 13-3 team is the #1 in Alpha...the Zeta team would deserve home field more imo). I don't really agree with points scored though, since you can rack those up in blowouts. I would probably go with points scored against if it were up to me.

Best way, imo, is have only the points count when they faced playoff teams. So the championship would be whoever scored the most points during the regular season against the teams that made the playoffs.
