League forums are what made this game fun. Most of them are dead these days. Locking them up as soon as they get lively (read: fun) again is not going to help keep this thing headed in the right direction.

Before one of you swashbucklers wades in and locks this one up, make sure you have read the rules yourslf. Making theads about locked threads in general is not stated as against the rules. We are not allowed to talk about, or create threads about, a specific thread that was locked, which this isnīt. It is just about locked threads in general and why some of the harmless (I mean, come on, the girls in here swinging their handbags at each other was just that) banter should be allowed.

Just a little thing about them "swashbuckling through"...they come in when someone hits the report button. I think Kmart might be checking up on us (since he sent me a PM asking me to keep an eye on things), but in general they don't just check league forums. They're mostly locking things that someone said violated a rule and, usually, did.

I believe though that the boards are badly overmodded. It probably is the fault of Bort and the instructs he gives to the Mods but anyone with any knowledge of a MB knows that what they are doing here is actually making things worse.
