Yeah, there haven't been very many 17 play 63 yard TD-scoring drives this season.

When you had the field-position battle strongly to your advantage in OT I thought it was over. Would have been curious to see if you kicker could have made that 41-yard FG if you hadn't gone for it on 4th down. I usually don't try field goals that long either, but I had to re-think things when Final Thought lost 3-0 due to a 44 yard field goal: http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=7793

The pass on 4th down was huge...and we got quite lucky completing it.

my max FG range was set at 40............shit, i need an OT input to try a 45 yarder on 4th and long.............live and learn, i would have loved to see the kick

I call this the ebay approach. If bidding on ebay, and I want to max out at say $40, I put in a bid of like $42.87 just to make sure I'm covered for the sucker who goes to $41. If 40 is my max FG I feel good with, you can rest assured that I added at least 2 yards to the attempt range. I adjusted before our first playoff game, added 2 more yards before the last one, and will probably add more tomorrow. I just wish we could see the ball going towards the uprights on replay.
