We want to welcome House of Pain and the Tallinn Nightmares to the Hot Chick Lounge. I’m sure they will enjoy their stay there. The girls will take good care of them.

In the world of financial news, try buying some stock in the Kentucky Bootleggers. They won 3 in a row now and looking at their future opponents, they have a good shot at moving up a couple spots.
And if you are looking for an Alpha investment, try to buy into the Funky Bunch. They just got a win over the EEXF, they play Tomsk next, which will be their 13th win .
They have the Lumberjacks and Tigers to play still and wins over them could make them a fav to play in the Alpha Conference Championship. It’s a gamble that could pay out big in the end.

Let’s look at the individual league award races for a sec……

- In the QB race, the Lumberjack’s Michael Bomber has a huge lead in passing yards of 800+ yards over the Serbia Swarm’s Matt Oliver.
But my very own QB of the Banja Luka Funky Bunch has overtaken Michaerl Bomber in the TD Pass race by 15 TD passes. Yay me!!

- Chris “The Burner” Jackson of the Bratslava Zabijaks and Adam Herbert of the Lithuanian Lumberjacks are neck and neck in the Receiving race!

- Will Barnes, HB of the Lithuanian Lumberjacks, has put up some really strong numbers too take hold of the lead for the Rushing title.

But like my great, great, great grand pappy Jebediah SA used to say, “Why do something today, when you can put it off for later”.
Come to think of it, I think that is why old Jebediah SA died broke and alone with a box of porn stashed under his bed. We had real trouble getting that grin off his face after he died.
Well just go win it and you won’t have to worry about it anymore.

#7 Border Reivers (8-5) LW8 - Well I think this next game will be a definite win and it should lock up your place at the playoff table. That should take a lot of pressure of you guys, so go out and get the Reiver party started.

#9 Serbia Swarm (7-6) LW10 - So let’s take a look at the Swarm’s situation.
You guys have done a 180’ since starting off 5-1. You guys are hanging by a thread and will need some big luck to make the post season.
The Bootleggers, Wombats and Zabijaks are left to play and getting three wins will be tough, very tough.
But three wins is what you will need to make it in, well that and the Reivers and Bishops to both lose the rest of their games too.
So just concentrate on winning your games for now and if the other stuff doesn’t happen then, oh well, you guys gave it your best.
Next opponent: at #6 Kentucky Bootleggers (9-4)

#10 Beograd Black Hand (6-7) LW9 - So………..
You guys have the Pangs, Roamers and Meltdowns left to play, which should equal 3 wins and put you at 9-7 on the season.
So you will need a little help to make it into that last slot.
The Swarm have three very tough games left to play and if luck is on the Black Hand side, they might lose all three. That would put them at 7-9 and you move up.
Then you have to hope that the Reivers and Bishops lose all three of their games as well. That might not happen, but you never freaking know……………

#11 Berlin Vikings (6-7) LW11 - Well Vikings, with the Archangels, Reivers and Bishops on the schedule, I think it might be time to say goodnight to you guys.
You guys haven’t fared well against the playoff bound teams and I think it will be three straight losses to close out season 12 for you.
But like your counterpart Vikings in Alpha, you guys can go out on your own terms like men. You guys fought to the bitter end and you deserve to go out with head held high and your pride, integrity, honor and dignity intact.

The swarm is trying to stir up some trouble with their stinging victory over the bootleggers. The sideline was buzzing with excitement as we got a quality win. Hopefully we will continue to be pests to our last 3 opponents and wing our way into the playoffs. A rash of victories is what we need to improve our chances, but we won't let one win swell our heads.

Sorry but had to get a few barbs in there somehow :-) Think that is all the flying/stinging insect references I could come up with.

We stirred up a real hornets nest with that one. The Swarm were madder than wet hornets when they got to the stadium and found that their jocks had been modified with a dollop of Icy Hot.
