Bayou ruined my picks last week by coming out with the victory over Walburg. We'll see if there are more upsets waiting in the wings this week.
GAME OF THE WEEK
Houston Space Cowboys (5-1) vs Sahara ShadowChasers (5-1)
Houston has a chance to make a case for a top 4 spot in this game. This has the makings of a great game and I'm giving the edge to Sahara due to the games they've played versus similar opponents.
Cairo Emperors (1-5) vs Fat Jaws Badness (3-3)
Badness gets a bye week as they face the CPU Emperors.
Casablanca Sultans (2-4) vs "Quick Stop" Clerks (6-0)
The Sultans face off against the undefeated Clerks and I don't see them handing out the Clerks first loss of the season. Clerks get away with this one early as their HBs just run over the Sultans.
Sterling Bulldawgs (5-1) vs G-Vegas Pirates (1-5)
The Bulldawgs are coming off a tough loss to the Clerks and looking to get back on a winning streak. The Pirates won't be taken lightly however and have no intention of laying down in what could be a very good game. In the end I think the Dawgs will get enough done on offense and the defense will be too much for the Pirates.
Detroit DopeDealers (0-6) vs Walburg Zion Dragons (3-3)
Detroit stands little chance of getting a win here so they're 6 game losing streak will soon be 7 games. Might be week 10 before Detroit can finally see a win this season.
LHC Naked Turtles (6-0) vs Durban Donkeys (0-6)
Bye week for LHC. Week 9 matchup against the Clerks looking like a huge game against last 2 undefeated teams.
Abbotsford Garden Gnomes (3-3) vs Taipei Little Fish Rangers (4-2)
The bad news for the Gnomes? They have little chance of slowing down the Fish Rangers so they'll extend their losing streak to 4 games today. The good news? With Durban up next they'll be able to get back to winning and with Fat Jaws after that they have a chance to get over .500.
Bayou City Bruisers (2-4) vs Port Saint Johns Legends (4-2)
Port Saint has been destroying all but the top teams and I expect that pattern to continue here. Bayou surprised me last week though when they beat Walburg so maybe they've got another upset up their sleeves.
