Our first game was in retrospect our most pivotal.

Lords of Chaos L 31-32

It was a game we should have won. Our OC/DC wasn't quite ready for the season and things were NOT in sync... but the Lords ended up with a couple of wins. We should have easily beat them.

Their winning play was a FG with 8 seconds left.

Lesson learned. After that we lost to teams we should lose to and won against teams we should beat. In the final standings, we beat everyone below us, and the one team above us. 8-8. Not a bad season but we ARE used to getting into the play-offs. This constant shuffling has left use middle of the pack teams season after season.

Who knows what next season brings, but I'm hoping we will improve enough to be in the top 5 this time.

Looking back, I can't think of anything I could have done to fix things. We did have some hard time recruiting and that left the roster so thin we needed CPU players. Never a good sign. But the stadium is finally done and EQ is being handed out. The team is happy (mostly) and almost everyone has resigned.

I hope we get to stay here next seasons and see familiar teams.

Tough stuff man. I looked at your page and it looks like there were 3 games you lost that could have just as easily gone your way with the right bounce.

I'll be interested to see how promotions work. Last season I had a team finish 7th in Uncapped Minors, lost their first round game, and ended up getting promoted to Eastern Europe AA. Since we're already at the AA layer I can't imagine teams that low being pulled up. I wouldn't be surprised to see 3 teams per conference move up though.

Good luck next season.

Looks like we're back.

This is going to be a very interesting season. We had a great recruiter really get a jump on things for us and we're now stacked. I think we may have a chance of a good seeding this time around.

Nice to see guys back in Alpha too. Good luck this season.
