Well you have a bit of a point there I guess, they clearly are favorites, but in that game an AI glitch on D meant that against all their multi-WR sets, we went with a front 7 and left a guy open pretty much on every play.

It won't happen today.

I'm hopeful of a win, but not expecting one. Should be a damn sight closer than that result anyway!

And I notice that apart from their scrim loss to Vatican, Revenge conceeded more points against us than in any other game...

Should be interesting, no matter the outcome.

Well, you're not on your own. Mike is a little quiet dontcha think...?

We've been pretty quiet all season long, even though we felt we were getting totally overlooked as potential champs, and I've waited a day to post this, but we, as a team, feel it needs to be said.

Personally I'm over the moon with the Plague's first Gold trophy. Most of our squad have been here since we started in season 6 - testimony to the builds and the agents we have on the team.

It was a pretty good game - they have a brutal HB combo - and you're right that the fumbles took their toll. 2 of them were caused by an old friend who has been inactive for quite a while, so there are a SHITLOAD of unspent SPs on his guys. The builds obviously got off to a good start though

The FF on the PR was the turning point imo. We were behind for the first time in the game, pinned deep in our own territory and 3 & out. Then BOOM. Had to be a HUGE moentum swing there. There were plenty other clutch plays too though.

And there was more than ST going for us. To see their O being contained so effectively - even with plays like this one http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=802133&pbp_id=18926286 eating up chunks of yards while seemingly being completely catered for - is very pleasing! And I can't speak highly enough of our O: An expertly built QB, unbelievable strength in depth at WR and a HB trio that will bowl you over and run right by you seemingly at the same time. Not to mention the OL (anticipating their first Gold bars, for what its worth, next season).

To be honest I think the Revenge took this one for granted, although there must have been more than a little gameplanning going on there - such as introducing the Strong I screen to such an extent.

Anyway, enough of this quasi-bragging post (even though I deserve it - LOL), but before I go I wanna draw your attention to a little something...

Heh.

So is there any chance we get bumped up to AAA too, or no? Is there any chance you guys go straight up to Pro?

We (The Plague) have a solid team, but if we got bumped straight to pro I'm pretty sure we'd get our jockstraps handed to us! Taking a look at the top teams from our league that were bumped up to AAA last season, it looks like AAA can be pretty competitive and humbling first season through. But if anyone can gameplan us to a successful AAA rookie season, Heff's the man!
