I totally agree with this:

We feel that the coaching model as described by Bort will harm my enjoyment of the game and interest in continuing to support GLB. Some of the reasons for this include:
1. Will imbalance a game that has just recently been stabilized.
2. Will perpetuate the advantage held by season 1 players right at the time that users who joined later are able to have success.
3. Given the timing it appears that there will be little to no testing performed to ensure this doesn't cause another 1 or more seasons tainted by bugs/exploits.
4. Adds an element that is several steps too far from actual football - equipment crafting takes GLB far too far into WoW territory.
5. When key game elements are missing or don't seem to be functioning as they should - FG replays, pathing issues, blocking dynamics, etc, etc, it doesn't make sense to be spending limited programming time on change that doesn't fix the fundamentals of the game.
6. This change adds to the administration required to run a team, but gives no indication of adding to the fun factor of the game - including being a coach. Its simply more paperwork for everyone.
Coaching was a "nice" idea that has grown completely out of control. Given the number of game imbalances, calculation issues, exploits and an apparent lack of testing, there is every reason to be concerned that this model is too big and too gamechanging while really not adding anything exciting to the realism of the simulations or the fun factor in daily gameplay.
