I know this sounds crazy, but could this be valuable for a C? Just rolled a +2 str +1 FS, and was going to refresh, but started thinking that it might have its advantages.

I doubt it. I don't think the close quarters on the line would cater to that very well, maybe on like pulls and stuff, but overall I'd say pretty useless.

This is interesting since a C might get a boost that may help him catch the MLB. At the same time only one item of FS can be upgraded so many times. Cs have some really good SAs that I would rather have in their trees.

How about first step and +1 jumping for a LT?

It doesn't sound crazy at all, I've heard mostly good things about First Step. In fact, I have it myself... yet I can give you no real insight as to how well it works since I'm not running all those crazy scripts that let you view acceleration values and whatnot.

I'd personally like to get a Quick Cut piece too but it's too late into my guy's career for that now. If I went for three AEQ pieces on my next C I'd probably shoot for Quick Cut + First Step + a Line General piece or a Hold Block% one. That'd give me a lot of room to "settle" on "lesser" pieces if I overshoot my shopping allotment too, like using AEQ on Get Low, Foundation, a second FS/QC piece...
