Your Kicking number is fine - UP your Strength, and Vision. A little to Confidence too, although your 29 isn't bad.
I have a level 26 kicker. He's at 83 Kicking, 50 Strength, 47 Vision, 54 Confidence. Then 7's in the Special Abilities. He's 11 for 12 in FGs this season, the 1 miss was a 40+ yarder. He's 6-7 from 40-49, then perfect below that. Also perfect with extra points.

^^^^^^^ Disagree 100%

Doing anything but kicking/Confidence this early (like your SAs you've already wasted SP on) hurts your K/P immensely long term. This can't be understated because it's quite true.

Kicking and Confidence should both be third capped at least before anything else.

Puma's right! Skill points, boosts, equipment and any leveling all in kicking to 78 while training confidence and vision exclusivly! If you're SA were not bought through equipment, I'd recomend scraping him and starting over. Sorry, but his longterm build is limited already. Kickers and punters get great natural gains when they get kicking/punting to major caps early.

I'd prefer Puma or matta to weigh in on this, kinda new myself. Wouldn't want to condenm your guy if they think he has a chance!

You've already lost 3.6 (18 SPs) levels to SAs, which could have been used to leverage level gains, pushing kicking much higher than it currently is.

Meh, the guy's a new player. OP = Keep playing around with him just don't boost him. Read up on cap focused and slowbuilding in the wiki.

Until I built a punter, then a kicker, I didn't understand the importance of a focused build and maxing major attributes as early as possible. If billybob keeps his kicker, I recomend he build another one, focusing on kicking to 78 while training confidence and vision exclusivly. Don't touch SA's if it's not through equipment and all equip in kicking. Within 3 seasons his new K'er will leave the old one in the dust!

There's certainly no harm in keeping him and not boosting him, to play around with for a few more seasons. I'm just a perfectionist.
