It is crazy to see so many good teams moving up and/or moving to another Pro League. I brought this up on our team forum about the possibility to switching with AAA team. As all of my players have contracts that are at least 2 more seasons before they expire except one player which is a backup. With that being said no matter where we are we will be a strong team. My team unanimously decided to stay in Western Europe AA and do things the Old Fashioned way - "Earn It".

There are some good teams in Zeta Conference still left as the Hitmen will be our biggest competition and they have our number defeating us twice and now is the team in Zeta that will have a target on them. Inverness Highlanders, Arhus Stingers and Berlin Ballers can't be overlooked either. The up and coming team though that I'll predict to make the playoffs next season and could pull off the upset while in the playoffs even with players that are 3 or 4 levels lower than the competition is the Stockholm Syndrome. I have a good insight on this because the owner actually has a player on my team. Of course we have to hide the team forum during that week we play him.

Its better for everyone. Having parity and competative games makes the experience better. For us, I think Pro is going to be pretty tough going but AAA has the same problem that AA has - and it is actually pretty comparable to AA in team levels. Well, everyone gets to see the Trolls get pushed around a bit in the Pros! Hopefully, we dont do really crappy and look too silly!

Its funny, some people look at the moving up or down as earning or rewarding. At this point, I look at it as trying to get the teams at the right level where the games are meaningful. If moving up is a reward then moving down is a punnishment. Those teams arent being punnished, theyre being moved to a place where they can be competative and will have more fun. There is no glamour in being in AA, AAA or Pro...big deal...does the title of your league really matter? To me, what matters is proving you are better than someone else. To do that, you need to be on the same footing with them.
