Predictions

La Tourette vs. Gibralter

Home field advantage could make all the difference in this one. La Tourette made only marginal improvements on offense and defense in terms of points scored/allowed, while Gibralter proved they can win on the road in a hostile environment. La Tourette won their regular season matchup on the road 28-20 and went 8-0 at home. I’ve gotta give a slight edge to Tourette here, maybe 3-4 points, but this should be a damn close game either way.

Mali vs. Hamburg

There are no questions that Hamburg is the team to beat in the playoffs this season. While Mali won their mid-season matchup 19-6, the Mystics seem to have hit the skids a little bit here at the end of the season--something you do NOT want to do heading into the playoffs. They blew their chances of going 16-0 in week 16 losing AT HOME to La Tourette. They followed that up with a sub-par performance against Casino Royale, and will need to rebound in a major way if they are going to edge out Hamburg in this contest. I’m going to pick Hamburg by 6 in what is sure to be the Zeta Conference Game of the Year.
