Though this is our first season in AAA the team has been around long enough where I believe we at least deserve our own see ya thread.
It is sad that the RUF is folding as it has been one of my favorite teams on GLB for a long while. Maxx Misery was a great owner and one of the best people you will ever meet. The bad news is the RUF is going under, the good news is it is because Maxx is moving up in the world. I won't get into his personal life but his decision to sell the team is supported by everyone involved with the RUF.
We will be under new ownership next season but will be dropping down to a cap 13 league. We want to thank all of the great rivals we have had and wish everyone in Africa AAA the best of luck.
I know that gutting a team mid season is crappy and can cause an unfair advantage for teams that play us late this season but we gave the players and option and they choose to help other teams that have a shot at the playoffs. For not waiting till seasons end we apologize.
