Warrior General Games

My LOT currently has 15 points in Pass Blocker, Great Blocker, and Goalline Blocker.

Not sure what could be good next. Does Outside Blocker work at all for OT? I wouldn't think so.

Some of my ideas are Clutch, Red Zone Freak, Workout Warrior, or Quick.

Not considering Showboat Blocker because my OT doesn't get many pancakes.

Clutch could help protect against DEs who use clutch + pass rusher combo.

Could always just do 'motivational speaker' or something, too, to help the team out.

Downfield blocker could be nice for holding blocks on shifty DEs during run plays. Clutch sounds good also. If you have mmoral issues there are some good VAs for this also. Then there are the team VAs like MS.

outside blocker can work on pitches and screens to the outside. or motivational or second wind.

I would go clutch.... it seems to be activating more for me these days. Better than outside blocker IMHO.

my lvl 58 LOT has pass blk 15, outside blk 15, and showboat blk 13...

the other suggestions are worthy- but personally i love having outside blk.. especially if your offense uses an elusive/speed back. our offense uses screens as well- its helped our HB to over 900 receiving yards to date.

and i personally like showboat blk... really drops the morale of the player opposite you, which in turn makes him play worse. If an LOT has this and gets some pancakes to trigger it... I believe the morale drop hurts his ability to rush the passer imo

Gimme Streaky--OT isn't a position that typically gets owned so if you go by the odds(75% chance of success)and can get a 5% increase to stats it will make a nice different in terms of pancakes and domination.

i faced the same problem with my LT (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=100429) and went for "outside blocker" after "pass blocker", "great blocker" and "goal line blocker" were maxed at 15.

"showboat" made no sense for MY LT, since he is more based on BLK and AGI than STR. i rarely get pancakes and don't expect any against the good teams in the play-offs, but our QB isn't on his back a whole lot.

i'm not too convinced by "outside blocker" either, so i think that i'm gonna reset it come next season. thanks for the input regarding "streaky" and "clutch". gonna think about it!
