Don't know, I looked them over a couple days ago and they were fine, then this morning right before we played them I looked and they went CPU. Weird, they were doing pretty well too.

Yep, I thought they were going to be one of the top teams when first looking at the league this season. They were not doing bad at all and anything can happen in the playoffs. Too bad.

They went CPU 2-3 days ago. Not sure what happened, but they were almost a guaranteed top 4 team, or could have been. On top of that, the owner sold out without giving out the $27M or so that they had.

Man they still might make the playoffs. That would suck to have a CPU team in the playoffs.

What a shitty thing to do, he coulda handed out that $$ for equipment or just cash bonuses to his guys before he bailed. The least he could have done for bailing out in mid season like that. Well...sounds cliche, but you can only beat the teams put in front of you. If we wind up with the computerized Wolves (which, given we're in different conferences, isn't likely), we'll just have to attempt to beat the 010011110001 out of 'em.

I've been fortunate that the owners of the teams that were folding let us know and spread out the cash.
