Hi,

my Lvl 7 Guard has reached 61 natural strength and I was wondering, if I should go on and get strength to 68 or switch to blocking and 3rd-cap strength later. Any suggestions?

Keep pumping strength, my advice is to go all the way to 74.

You might as well take it to 68 and continue training blocking and agility. Some take it to 73 or 74 which is not bad advice imo.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will take strength to 68 while training blocking/agility. Don't know about pumping it to 74. If he's going to play LG, wouldn't it be enough to 3rd cap strength early ?

LGs are fine with 68 strength imo. As long as they are built well. My LG actually capped strength last but I pushed blocking very high. It is 81 w/o eq now.

At LG I think 68 might be alright, depending on the offense that is running. I still think I like 74 though.

I'd take it to 68 and then work on blocking and agility. If you can get those two soft capped before strength makes it to 74 natural, then maybe take it to 74 with SP.

If you are doing str first at LG, you'll probably want to do this..

48 conf

then worry about the other stuff like agility.

That is probably exactly what I would do if I built another LG. I think that is the most efficient use of SP for a LG build.
